As a Neuro-performance coach that implements NLP. What are Neuro-Lingüistic Programming Techniques and how can they help us?

Neuro-performance is a brain-based coaching method. As a coach, I use a combination of neuroscience-based toolkits to help improve performance in business and overall wellbeing.

The foundation of my training methods involve a combination of NLP techniques which are a combination of mental & physical models that allow for personal development and spiritual growth.

They help us by helping us understand that we form our unique internal mental maps of the world as a product of the way we filter and perceive information absorbed through our five senses. NLP can teach us how to break down mental constructs and rewire our mind & nervous system.


Do you think that the education system should include how to manage our emotions, stress, and leadership skills?

Yes, I think it is essential. It will add tremendous value if we were able to understand that emotions are fleeting and how to express feelings we can’t from a young age.


What does it take to be a leader, anyone can be one?

To lead we must trust that we can lead. I believe we all have our own individual leadership style that has value. It is up for us to own and trust our way of leading others and ourselves.


Younger generations are nowadays generally overqualified, how do you feel they can outstand among other candidates from a human perspective?

I think younger generations are and will continuously become more advanced due to being digital natives born in the digital age. They think faster and are generally more entrepreneurial than previous generations. My advice is don't try to outstand - think of yourself as a creator who came here to create and just build from true self-expression. We have never had as many resources as we do now. There is no need to become part of a broken system.


What is the best piece of advice you give to become the best version of one-self?

When you feel stuck, learn to observe the fear. Avoid becoming the fear and you will learn how to liberate yourself when challenged by any circumstance.


Do you think that a positive mindset attracts positive experiences?

A mindset has to be worked at. I think positive thoughts allow you to create positive momentum. It is the momentum we need to focus on over the experience itself.

 

How has the coronavirus lockdown affected your coaching? Do you see there's been a difference in social values, objectives and way of thinking?

I have been challenged to merge with my own fear of uncertainty as an entrepreneur. However I have also tapped into creating from inspired action. I feel that my coaching services are now more specific and more effective as I have also attracted a new wave of very inspiring & ambitious clients who have taught me how to improve on the way I deliver as a coach.

As a collective, our past fears, insecurities and limiting beliefs are all being brought to the surface. We are all experiencing this in different ways and it is triggering people to start asking new questions. I respect that the reality of this is extremely uncomfortable but I understand it is necessary for our evolution as a society.


It is difficult to wake up every day staying positive and motivated during this still existing pandemic. How do you think we can turn a routine into something that can inspire us to keep growing and evolving as human beings?

Listen to what you are being called to do. There is no need to rush back into taking action. The world has never stopped before. Let this experience help you pay attention to whatever you may have been ignoring or suppressing within yourself. This is a unique and very valuable time to be reflective & observe what is coming up with no judgment to allow for self-healing and more clarity.

I find the desperation of wanting things to go back the way they were, completely insane. Treasure this opportunity. You most probably will only ever live this once in your lifetime.


Do you have any particular tips or daily routines to grow and evolve every day to become a better person and professional?

Learn how to breathe and breathe deeply whenever you are aware that you are holding your breath. Every daily practice is unique to the individual but I would advise you to explore the power of how the breath can heal the body and help you manage stress & blockages in the body.

Breathing is such a powerful, underrated medicine.


Do you think this pandemic has generated a lack of creativity and mindset? If so, how do you think we can overcome it?

I believe this pandemic has been a unique experience for everybody. Those who have chosen to create and evolve - are coming out with a new perspective on being. Those who have stayed attached to the old ways of being & living are feeling resistance.

To overcome feeling stuck & fearful you must surrender to not knowing. Live the moment fully. Don’t focus on the unknown. It’s insane to fight against the flow of life right now. Take each day as it comes. Stay open & receptive to being guided beyond the self.


The lockdown has offered us a lot of time to get to know ourselves better. Which are the positive outcomes?

I think the positive outcomes are that we have had the opportunity to stop without the excuse of distracting ourselves. I think the pandemic has allowed us to wake up and focus our attention on whether we are in alignment with our soul essence. I consider this to be the greatest gift humankind can receive. We were losing focus for quite some time now.


How can we connect deeper to our intuition? How can we develop this connection and how can we trust ourselves even more?

Create the dialogue to deepen the connection. Call on your higher being/power/god for guidance. Our intuition is always present and only by posing the questions do we allow for our connection with intuitive intelligence to deepen. We just need to start that conversation within us.

How do you see the future of wellness-related business? Do you think society is every day becoming more aware of the importance of incorporating wellness and mindfulness practices into their business?

Absolutely. Wellness is essential for our well-being and I think as practitioners/business owners/ lightworkers we must continue to build and create and be of service to the changes we are experiencing as a collective. The majority of society is suffering and it is up to the wellness industry to step in to guide and support businesses and future generations in achieving perspective & balance.
