Co Founder of WE ARE SUPERNATURAL

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Hollywood, Florida and raised down there until I was 18, when I left for college in Boston.

How do you wake up your own curiosity?

Education! I am a Student of Life and imagine I will always be a lifelong learner. I love to follow my curiosities into big and small ideas, concepts, and theories that get my mind, body and soul interested to learn and understand more. I love to read, write, and listen to inspiring humans, thoughtful stories and indulge in old philosophies and wisdoms.

What does your perfect life look like?

One where I am living in true alignment to my authentic self. Living in purpose and real service work that is here to change the world and make an impact. Leading with compassion and unconditional love. Continually working on my own personal development/growth, leading the way through authenticity and honesty, and truly living and existing according to my own personal values and freedoms.

When are you/ do you feel most supernatural?

When I lean into my intuitive gifts.

When and how did you realize it was the moment to create we are SUPERNATURAL?

We both had a passion for learning about worldly and otherworldly things, the above, the below, the inside and the outside, and we loved to share what we were learning and exploring with each other. We wanted to create a platform with access to education about things we cared about: a platform for self knowledge, community learning and social impact designed to be open and accessible to anyone and everyone that felt connected to the mission.

Which is We Are Supernatural motto?

I have no special talent.
I am only passionately curious.

What is your strategy to build a community? How do you reach people and make them feel involved and part of your community?

We’ve been tapped by existing communities to bring in programming and education, we’ve found creative collaborations to be expansive for our community building. We’ve also built community by just showing up and offering what we can for the greater good. Through friends, family, and our collective networks we’ve built up a community around us. Most of the work we do is with our community, our events, teachers, mentors and leaders are the community we choose to work with and feature.

Which are the biggest challenges Supernatural is facing right now?

We are SUPERNATURAL is a passion project by Alina and Lindsay, we face growth challenges while continuing to build our own respective businesses and projects.

We are facing uncertain times right now, how do you feel Supernatural can help people willing to fight for what they stand for?

We are a platform for the community by the community. We strongly believe knowledge is power and showing up daily to lead, teach, and share this wealth can further our collective experience and understanding of the issues at large and in our own personal lives.

How do you see the future of our society? Which are the steps we should take to make this world a better place?

We see a bright, collaborative, kind future for all beings, human and otherwise. We are going through a period of expansive awakening, globally, and now is the perfect time to tap into our inner resources and truly uncover who we are and how we can best show up as leaders in a more awakened, compassionate society. Know thyself has never been more true than at this moment. Only after we've honored the work needed to awaken, learn and activate ourselves can we step into our outward-facing role in our communities and in society at large.

Could you share with our community tips or routines to implement in our daily lives to continue a self-development path?

⋙ Follow your curiosity!  We've been taught since childhood to be stingy with our time and only focus on "important" things that "matter," instead of remembering to follow that inner voice that stops in front of something interesting as asks - "What's that?" Ask--and follow that voice as often as possible!  It may lead you to places you never imagined!

⋙ Avoid the pressure of following someone else's footsteps.  Your journey, with all its twists and turns, is yours alone.  It's unique, special and beautiful just as it is.  Learning about other people's paths can be inspiring and expansive, but your special path is the only one that really counts -- lean in to your path.

⋙ Personal development isn't just about morning routines and disciplined goal setting --it's a lifelong journey, and it should be FUN!  Try to tap into the spirit of PLAY as much as possible - then growth will come effortlessly and personal development will be a joy.

What are three things in an entrepreneur's life?

1. Rituals and Routines
